Product description

This is the cable Voltara ships with its GaN chargers, sold on its own in three lengths. An E-marker chip negotiates the full 100 W (20 V / 5 A) with any Power Delivery charger, so a laptop charges at full speed and a phone charges at whatever it asks for.

The braided nylon jacket and aluminium connector shells survive being wrapped, stepped on and stuffed into bags, and the strain relief is rated for over 30 000 bend cycles. Data is USB 2.0, which is what you want for a charging cable that does not need to be thick and stiff.

In the box: one cable with a silicone cable tie.

    Finally a cable that lasts

Bought twenty for the office. Six months in, not a single frayed end, and every laptop charges at full speed.

  • LucaVerified purchase

    Does 100 W as promised

Checked with a USB meter, pulls 96 W into my 16-inch laptop. The 2 m is perfect for the sofa.

  • GraceVerified purchase

    Good cable, stiff at first

Braid is a bit stiff out of the packet but relaxes after a week.
