Product description
The CF-400 is ClearFlow's compact external filter for tanks up to 200 litres. A self-priming pump means no sucking on hoses: fill the canister, press the primer twice and it starts. The quick-release tap block lets you lift the head off for cleaning without disconnecting or re-priming the hoses.
Four stacked baskets come pre-loaded with coarse sponge, fine sponge, BioRing sintered glass and a carbon pad, and there is room to swap in your own media. At under 25 dB(A) it is quiet enough for a bedroom.
In the box: canister with pump head, media baskets with media, 16/22 mm hoses, intake with strainer, spray bar and suction cups. The CF-600 and CF-1000 add flow and media volume for larger tanks.

Okay for the price
It works, but it feels a little less premium than the photos suggest. Fine as a budget option.
